Need help with Bate Bola? Start here — the most common questions are answered below. If you can't find your answer, write to us: we reply to every message.
Contact us
- App, account or club: clubes@batebola.pt — we usually reply within two working days.
- Privacy and personal data (access, correct or delete your data): privacidade@batebola.pt — the GDPR gives us one month to answer, but we rarely take that long.
To help us sort it out faster, tell us the email address of your account, the name of your club and, if you can, attach a screenshot.
How do I join a club?
Clubs on Bate Bola are not open to all: you join by invitation. Ask your club for its QR code (scan it from the app's start screen, "I have a QR") or for an invitation link. If your club isn't on Bate Bola yet, tell us — we'll get in touch with them.
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot my password" and enter your account email. You'll get a link to set a new one. If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder before writing to us — that's the cause nine times out of ten.
I'm not getting notifications
- Check that you allowed notifications for Bate Bola in your phone's settings.
- Under Profile › Account you can choose which alerts you receive.
- On iPhone, Focus mode silences notifications without blocking them.
Bookings, entries and membership fees
Court bookings, tournament entries and membership fees are managed by your club: opening hours, prices, cancellation rules and refunds are its decisions. For anything about a payment or a booking, talk to your club first. If you get no answer, write to us and we'll pass it on.
Reporting or blocking someone
Any post, comment or message can be reported from within the app, and you can block a user in a direct conversation — they can no longer write to you. Reports reach the club's administrators and our moderation team. If someone's safety is at stake, write to us directly at clubes@batebola.pt.
Deleting your account
Go to Profile › Account › Delete my account. Your personal content (photos, messages, posts) is deleted; results of tournaments already played are anonymised, so other players' draws stay intact. This action is final.
Minimum age
You must be 16 or older to create a Bate Bola account.
